It’s tax season, and if you find yourself owing Uncle Sam a chunk of change, you might feel bummed that you don’t have the extra dough on hand to shill out for some new tunes (assuming you even pay for your music).
But fear not! For I am here to help you through the tough times with some free music to keep you rocking through the winter (or at least the weekend).
I present to you Cut Your Teeth. They are a fledgling metal band from New York City, specializing in an intriguing blend of hardcore, punk, and classic thrash. I’m usually not a huge fan of hardcore, but these guys make a brand that I can buy into. It’s just riffs packed upon riffs with some lyrics that are admittedly simplistic and immature but fun.
Cut Your Teeth is giving away their five song self-titled EP for free right here. It’s only about fourteen minutes long, so even if you don’t like it, you won’t have wasted much time. And did I mention it’s free?
