Suds on Bleeker

Last night the 52nd installment of the Grammy Awards took place. While we unfortunately weren’t in attendance, we couldn’t let that stop us from getting in on the gossip. Here are a couple choice comments overheard last night.

Am I the only one who still thinks Sheryl Crow looks like a big stoner?

I’d have to agree with this one. There is something about the woman that just screams “let’s go get baked after this show”. Then again, her amazing physique at 47 completely contradicts this. That and I feel like when Lance was still around he would have kicked her ass for toking up–you can’t win 7 Tour de France’s while stoned to the bejeezus-belt.

You guys Bon Jovi fans?

Yes! 20 years ago. Why is Bon Jovi at the Grammys singing old overplayed songs? Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy Bon Jovi, but I guess I missed the memo entitled  “Ideas to spice up this year’s Grammy Awards”.

Why’d they pair the white dude with Mos Def?

Mos Def goes well with everything. Whether he’s wrapping about Mathematics, or blowing shit up in the Italian Job, the man gets it done–even if they want to put him on stage at the Grammys with some old white dude.
